By offering full time employment with better pay and working atmosphere, we managed to persuade a team of artisans to leave their villages and work for us in our workshop.  After 4 years,  entire families work with us not as factory workers but as true CRAFTSMEN and CRAFTSWOMEN  merging their irreplaceable skills with contemporary techniques and designs.                  STITCHED – NOT GLUED - glue is highly toxic for workers and for air quality generally.   Its use is minimised by stitching the shoes.            Only NATURAL materials from SUSTAINABLE sources are used.  We only work with tanneries we know and have visited.               HAND MADE means the only power used is for lighting – NO ENERGY HUNGRY machines needed.     RE-CYCLED engineering salvage as embellishments – watch the space!
